COVID-19 Information
Should your daughter/son develop any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 while in school, we shall contact you immediately and ask that you pick her/him up as soon as possible. If your daughter/son has any siblings at school we shall also arrange for them to go home.
We advise that you should immediately book a COVID-19 test for the child who is symptomatic and keep all children at home until the outcome of the test is known.
If the test is negative, the symptomatic young person (and their siblings) can then return to school. If the test is positive the symptomatic young person should self-isolate for 10 days and family members for 14 days. Should another member of the family develop the symptoms associated with COVID-19, she/he should book a test straight away.
It will be extremely helpful if parents and the school keep in touch while we await the outcome of the test and then liaise about the outcome.
COVID-19 symptoms:
high temperature/fever;
a new continuous cough;
change to or loss of sense of smell or taste.
