Parent Council 2022/23
The next Parent Council Meeting will take place on 27th October at 5pm, in the School Hall. Please note time has been changed to 6PM.
This will be an AGM.
At present there is no chairperson so this will be elected at the AGM.
The other posts are:

Treasurer – Yvonne Walkinshaw
Staff member – Mrs Wood
Co-opted – Gail Coulter and Allison Keteb.
The first Parent Council meeting of the session will be held on Thursday 15th September at 6pm in the School Hall. All parents are invited to attend.

A.G.M.
The Parent Council held their A.G.M. on Thursday 10th March.
Mr Andrew Grant stood down as Chairperson and he was thanked for his work during the difficult times of the pandemic.
The new chair elected was Ms Emma Bias. Secretary is now Ms Emma Soanes and treasurer is Mrs Yvonne Walkinshaw. Mrs Gail Coulter has agreed to be a co-opted member.
Headteacher Mrs Macpherson gave a report of the school year so far.
Final plans for the Community Fun Day on Saturday 26th March were discussed.
The Go Pros which were purchased as part of a grant were given to the school. Ex pupil Ben Coulter kindly gave a demonstration of the cameras. These will be used on the fun day to record the events.
The date of the next meeting was agreed as Thursday 28th April at 6pm
The first meeting of 2022 took place on Monday 24th January. Mrs Macpherson provided the council with an update of what had been going on in school in the first few weeks back after the Christmas holidays. The Parent Council hope to organise an event as part of the bike track day at the end of March. The next meeting will be to confirm what is possible by then and will take place on Thursday 10th March at 7pm.Please note change of time and day of the week.
Parent Council 2021
The latest Parent Council Meeting took place on Zoom on Monday 1st November. We are delighted to welcome Yvonne Walkinshaw and Emma Soanes onto the Parent Council committee who will join Mr Andrew Grant. Yvonne will take over the treasurer role. The committee discussed the arrangements for the sponsored walk and the forthcoming Carol Concert. They were also updated on the appointment process for the head teacher post and plans for PEF funding. Please remember -any parent is welcome to attend the Parent Council and I would encourage parents to do so and have your say about school matters.
