Local artist Cherry Spencer visited school on Tuesday 23rd August.
She told the pupils of her background and the different job she has done over the years.
She explained the art technique she uses on silk. The other resources required are rusty bits of metal, vinegar and tea bags! Cherry demonstrated the technique and the pupils were able to see many examples of Cherry’s art.
It was a really interesting afternoon and all pupils enjoyed the visit.
Thank you Cherry!

This week the P7 prefects added a plaque to mark the spot alongside the rose bush we planted in June.
