Some of our Boys went to Tesco to do a ‘big shop’ for the Snug. The boys represented Team Coalburn beautifully and brought lots of goodies back with them.
Team Coalburn enjoyed coming to school in our pyjamas and participating in lots of RICH reading learning experiences. Thanks to all of our special adults who came along to join in the reading fun at the end of the day. Special thanks to those who came in their pyjamas!
Team Coalburn invited the Brass Band Family in to the school to hear them play and learn more about the Brass Band Family. Following the visit some of our pupils went along to band practise!

P1/2 invited their special adults in to a short Assembly and then went to the classroom to share their learning all about the Arctic and Antarctic! Feedback was fabulous!
On March 7th 2pm – 3pm there will be a special assembly dedicated to Mr Stevenson, to celebrate his retirement. This is an in-house event for pupils, staff, Mr Stevenson and his family. Photos to follow!

World Book Day is a fun day on Thursday March 3rd, 2025. We will come to school in pyjamas and bring in some of our top books. The focus will be on reading for pleasure.

The Digital and News Pupil Voice Group had their first meeting this morning and have grand plans for revamping our website and how we share news with our community. Watch this space……..
