Our school vision statement is ‘Be the Best You Can Be’, the values that underpin this statement are Be Kind, Show Respect, Try Hard. At Coalburn Primary School we have an ‘ABC Attitude – Always Be Confident’. We are committed to ensuring that these values underpin everything we do at Coalburn Primary School and are realised by our learners and extended community.

We operate an open door policy, we believe in partnership working in order to achieve our very best. We aim to develop successful partnerships with parents and our wider community for the benefit of all of our young people. In doing so we acknowledge the continued support and hard work of our committed parent council and our successful and developing partnerships.

We have developed a comprehensive Curriculum Rationale to ensure that all of our learners have a fun, relevant and enjoyable experience throughout our curriculum and their time here with us.
