Homework Wk beg 23/09/19

This week  Reading and  Numeracy  homework has been issued. The numeracy worksheets will be given out on Tuesday.

There will be no spelling words as this is a consolidation week. Pencils  group can you please revise the /ph/ phoneme from last week. Pens group can you please revise a mixture of previous sounds.

Reading tasks
Please complete by Wednesday and ensure that reading books are brought to school each day.

Dahls: Read chapter 6
Rowlings: Read chapter 5

This week Spelling, Reading and  Numeracy  homework has been issued. You will find this in their homework folders or a poly pocket.

Please try to practise phonemes/words each night using an active spelling strategy in preparation for a quiz in class on a Friday.

Challenge Activities – Can you write a sentence for each of your words? Remember to use V.C.O.P. in your work (Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers, Punctuation). Can you think of any more words which have the same phonemes as the ones we are revisiting this week? Can you spell them correctly?
