Today we were planting sunflower seeds together.
We filled up the pots with compost and made a hole with a stick then we popped in the seed.
Everyone has their own pot with their name on it.
We decided that the most sunny spot was the window sill.
We are excited to watch them grow.
Everyone loved planting today at the polytunnel. All the children enjoyed filling their plant pots with soil, adding their sunflower seed in and then topping up the pot with more soil. They all done good listening and are very excited to see them grow by watering them everyday!
We have been watching our flowers grow for last few weeks. We had fun measuring them at together time to see which flower was the tallest!
The children had taken an interest in flowers this week. We spotted some on our walk!
We took some photos and made a flower book.
We have spent lots of time outdoors this week at the beach and in the garden. The bairns were very excited about digging up the tatties. Frances in the school canteen is going to cook the tatties for our lunch today!
