When we were outside this morning, we collected sticks to make hedgehogs. We used playdough for the body and buttons and shells for his eyes and nose.

New toys!
The children received some new toys this week. They have enjoyed playing with the new outdoor blocks and building things and using their imagination.
They also enjoyed using the toys that were gifted from toddlers. The tractor has been a big hit and the children have enjoyed sharing it.
Our mud-kitchen has been moved!
We got a surprise today when we went out to the poly-tunnel and our mud kitchen was there, it had been moved from the courtyard!
We made a café and had lots of helpers in the kitchen making pots of soup and cups of tea.
Dinosaur jelly bath
The children are enjoying sensory play and getting messy. We set up a dinosaur swamp made from jelly bath. The children enjoyed playing in this with their hands and using their imagination to play.
Wendy house!
Something really exciting arrived to the nursery this week! The children were so excited to explore it and start to role play in the wendy house!
Mud kitchen
The children enjoy spending time out at the mud kitchen and polycrub area. They enjoy cooking up some soup or ice cream and testing out their throwing and balancing skills with different equipment.
Active story
This week we read the Gruffalo outside in amongst the trees! The children enjoyed hearing the story in a different environment and loved trying to find the Gruffalo.
Colouring in!
We had so much fun colouring in peppa pig on the interactive whiteboard. We loved recognising the different colours.
Welcome back everybody!
All the children were so excited about coming back to nursery! They had so much fun playing in the sand pit, putting on a puppet show, playing outside and playing in the water tray!
It was so nice to see some new faces too!
Having a paddle!
The children enjoyed cooling down this afternoon by having a paddle in the pool!
