Our Primary Department moved out of Symbister House in August 1993 into a separate new building next to the Leisure Centre and Nursery. While classrooms are small there are good circulation areas which are used as extensions to rooms for library and group activities.

The Nursery and Primary liaise regularly regarding pupil transition into the Primary, although this decision is only reached with the full support of parents.

Regular opportunity exists for parents to discuss this with teachers. We are very keen that parents are always aware of our open door policy through which we encourage all to make contact with school whenever they feel a need. We feel it is always best to discuss any concerns swiftly so that any action needed can take place quickly. Through a phone call to school a matter can be discussed or an appointment made to meet in person with a teacher or senior member of staff.
