Over the past few days, Eyvor Irvine and other volunteers in Secondary and the community have been delivering the Christmas cards that we had planned to deliver on Wednesday. I would like to thank Eyvor for all her hard work and coordination of this, the others who have helped and the community for supporting the scheme. We are hoping that all of the cards will be delivered by the end of today.

Please note that Whalsay School will not be opening tomorrow, Thursday 15th December.
Just a further update on our plans to re-schedule the concerts next week:
We are hoping to run the concerts on Monday at 2pm and Tuesday at 10am. In order to simplify arrangements with tickets, we are asking that people stick to their prior ticketing allocations if possible; i.e. those scheduled for the Tues 13th concert attend on Monday and those scheduled for the Wed 14th matinee attend on Tuesday. Secondary pupils who have tickets for the Tuesday 13th concert will be released from classes to attend on Monday afternoon. If you still need to change your allocation or are unable to attend, please contact the Primary office when school re-opens.

On Wednesday we had a Christmas Fair after dinner. We sold things we made at Friday Fun. It was really busy with mums and dads. It was good fun making the decorations. We made £280 and we will spend the money on things for friday fun. Thank you for coming to our fair.
