Scotland Learns

Here you will find a range of activities to support your child’s learning at home in literacy and English. You won’t need lots of resources and the activities are designed to encourage your child’s creativity and independence. There are some activities that your child can do on their own. You may want to do some of the activities as a family.

Authors Live

This is a great resource and one of favourites to use in school. It’s a chance for pupils to learn about their favourite authors and stories. Sometimes they suggest follow up activities to do and each Author’s Live event takes about 30 minutes to watch. It’s easy to search by author or age.
