We did a science experiment to do with friction. We had to move jelly from a bowl to a paper towel using chopsticks. It was really hard! Only some of us could do it, then we put oil on the jelly and that made it harder but we still enjoyed it. We learnt that if you have more grip on a surface then it doesn’t slip as much.

Yes – I had to smile when I saw the photographs – it looked like a huge amount of fun and a really enjoyable and exciting experiment. We have finished our Science Unit in New Zealand but I wish we’d seen this before that because we could have copied the experiment because it looked like a lot of fun.
