We tested the effect of different forces on the speed and distance travelled by toy cars.

We experimented with magnets to see what they can do.  Then we tested objects made from different materials to see which ones were attracted to magnets.

Mandarin

Primary 2/3 have enjoyed learning some Mandarin this term. They are all really good at remembering the vocabulary. They particularly enjoyed watching the Chinese cartoons, singing the two tigers song and making their oragami tigers!

Crash Dummies!

Elaine Skinley visited our class with the crash dummies.   She  taught us about staying safe when travelling on roads and demonstrated what can happen if we do not wear our seat belts in the car.  We have been making road safety posters in class to remind everyone of these rules.
