Can’t believe we are nearly at the end of our first term in p2/3/4. Here are some activities we have been doing over the last few weeks.
We went for a walk around the school grounds to look for things made from different materials. Then we grouped them into natural or artificial materials.
Next we sorted some different materials according to their properties.
We made some roofs from different materials and tested them to see which materials had the best properties for making a roof.

We enjoyed watching the online pantomime, Cinderella on Friday afternoon. The ice lollies at the interval were pretty good too!
We have been learning about electricity and circuits. Here we are making and testing out a switch to insert into the circuit so we can switch the light bulb on and off.

We used interesting adjectives and exciting verbs to describe fireworks for our shape poems.
We were learning about 2D shapes in maths and used these to make our colourful rocket pictures.

Here we are again on Friday all dressed up in our super Halloween costumes. Today we have been making pumpkins and witches/bats/zombies from our painted paper plates!
