JRSO

Our Junior Road Safety Officers have been reading to the Nursery children this week, helping them to learn more about staying safe when out and about.  They spent their lunchtimes choosing books and preparing questions to ask the children.   The group want to make sure road safety messages are being shared with everyone in the school.

Our JRSOs are already planning their next whole school event which  looks like a lot of fun!  They will be sharing more information about this soon!

Planned Industrial Action – Monday 6th Feb 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are now aware, industrial action is planned again by the teaching unions for next Monday 6th February.  If this goes ahead as planned, the School will be closed for primary aged pupils and the Early Years Nursery will also be closed.

NOOSC will be open  9am to 4.30pm  on Monday 6th to offer childcare for any primary age child who may need it.  Please complete the booking form if you would like  your child to attend.

If NOOSC is open all day Monday 6th this means it  will not be open on the following  Friday 10th Feb  after school.

If the industrial action does NOT  go ahead then NOOSC will revert to normal hours.

Kind regards,

Gina Finch

Tuesday 17th January

All schools and nurseries  closed again due to adverse weather.   Hope you all managed to have a bit of fun in the sun and snow today.  Do share photos through Teams.  First time I’ve seen snow like this for several years so couldn’t resist a walk- but it was cold!  Keep warm and take care if you do have to travel.
