Burravoe Primary School

I entered a few things at the Yell Show. I put entries into baking, crafts and flowers but what I was really pleased about was that I won best in children’s  baking for my Victoria sponge. When I kept getting well done for quite a lot of things I thought I didn’t do very well until I saw my Victoria sponge. I was over the moon when I saw it had won. My Yell Show wasn’t complete until I had some fun. I did the lucky dip, the tombola and spin the wheel, I didn’t  win anything except for things in the lucky dip because you always get something in the lucky dip. I still wanted to do some other activities so I went on the bouncy castle,in the ball pool and I went in all the other sheds. My favorite part of the Yell Show would probably be when we   went in the ball pool. I went in the ball pool with Rosie and Emer and we didn’t just sit in the ball pool we jumped into the ball pool too; sometimes we jumped in on our own and sometimes we jumped in at the same time . So actually that was definitely my favorite part!

Me and Filip did pictures for the Yell Show.We each made 2 pictures.One of my pictures was a under sea picture  first I painted the backround and then stuck on mermaids, sharks, octopuses, fish.My second picture had a smiley face and a red cup, a pineapple and  two bananas on it. Filip’s  picture had red and black strikes across it  and the second picture had paint brush strokes in a navy colour. All of our pictures said well done  only  but next time I will try and get 1st 2nd 3rd next year.On Friday at school we harvested vegetables for the Yell Show because we had to get the vegetables there in the evening at 7.00 o’clock.

We went to the Yell Show. I entered pig shaped cookies. We have lots at home. I won 1st prize for my pig shaped cookies. I loved the ball pool it was fun I went in the ball pool with Abby and Rosie. We jumped in and we went on the bouncy castle it had bouncy slide. we looked at the sheep and the rams and we looked at the bunnys and the cats and the pictures. Me and Honor and mum entered pictures in to the Yell Show.

Alice picked these flowers for the Show and she got second prize.

On Saturday it was the Yell Show. On Friday night we had to put in our entries. I put in hamma beads, loom bands and some cupcakes. I was so exited for the Yell Show! When the day came I was so excited to go! When we got there then I wanted to find my friend, Honor. but I also was hungry so me and Rosie got a chicken kebab. OK, so for my hamma beads I got a third, for my loom bands I got first and or my cupcakes I got a well done. I was super pleased that I got a first. I was also quite pleased that I got a third too. So after I found out that I got my prizes then I did sumo wrestling with Honor. Honor won and my Dad picked me up 3 times  and 2 of the times Honor knocked me over, 1 of the times I fell down because the suit was too heavy. I had loads of candy floss and I had a massive lolly pop.
