Today we had our Children in Need Pyjama Fashion Show. We took turns to walk down in tothe main classroom we also posed. We then paraded around the crowd. It was so much fun! Before Lunch Pudsey made a surprise appearance! We all loved him so much but I think Alice did most! By the end of the day we raised £113. It was so much fun!

On Saturday night at the Burravoe Hall we took part in the premier of The Bad Morning which is based on The Gloup Disaster. Pete Sharkey wrote the music and put the performance together. Mr Sharkey sent the music to us and we wrote the lyrics to fit the tune. We decided that the tune was a lullaby and we collaborated to write My Peerie Baby. Cullivoe School also sang a song they had written about the disaster and the resilience that Yell showed afterwards. The Shanty Yellmen sang Da Sang O Da Papa Men and The Unst Boat Song in the production. Pete read stories about The Gloup Disaster which he had found in the Shetland Archives. There were Musicians and they played some music while there was a slideshow of photos of Gloup playing. We liked it.

In the October holidays I went to Wales in Wales there is a place called Haven. When we got there we went to book everything that we were going to do In the week. I did lots of activities in the swimming pool, Me and Phoebe did water walkerz it is just these big balls filled with air, the ball wasn’t filled with air when I went inside the air was still blowing inside, the air was cold and the man he was pushing the ball with me inside into the pool, the ball that I was in was a bit wet but we both had our swimming costumes on so it was ok. I did the climbing wall I had never ever done it before I did lots of other activities. I wish we could go there next year.

We were going on holiday to Bannockburn. We had to go on the Northlink (which is an overnight boat). In the morning we drove off the boat and went to Starbucks. Then we drove to Stirling. Once we arrived in Bannockburn we drove to our holiday house. When we got to our holiday house we met the lady who owned it. She gave us the tour of the house. It was a lovely! I slept in a room upstairs it had a double bed. Outside we had a hammock and a swing chair! My highlights of the holiday were when we went to the Stirling castle, going shopping in Thistles, staying in the hotel (it was my first time in a hotel) and watching Pan!
Pan Review
I loved Pan it was a very adventurous story. It was a prequel of Peter Pan. It was World War II Peter and his best friend nibs stayed in a boys home.

I went to Mareel to watch Spectre it is a James Bond film. A high tech company was trying to shut down the 00 program. And James Bond was protecting Swann from the high tech company’s henchmen.
I would rate it 4 and a half

In the October holidays I went to England, Wales and then England again. first we drove through England and that took us 7 hours but including a 3 hour stop at asda. The next day we got to haven in Prestatyn so it was called Presthaven. When we got to haven we had to go the reception but first we needed to find it which took us about 10 minutes, and then we had to take and other 10 minutes, and then another 10 minutes fin the cabin. When we got to the cabinwe all said “woow!” We went swimming every day in haven. My favourite part of haven was either target shooting I will tell you later or the water walkerz. I liked the water walkerz because I felt like a hamster and I liked the target shooting because it was fun and won a prize that nobody else out of 12 people, including the adults. After we left haven we stayed in my home town.

My trip to Lerwick
Me, Anne, Abby and my Mum drove to the Mareel and watched Hotel Transylvania 2 it was amazing. I loved it and was funny and a good follow up to the first. Dennis’s journey to becoming a vampire was really funny. After we went to Mr T’s for lunch then we headed home. I like Mr T’s better than Flames because it has more different types of food like curries.
My Sleepover
We had my cousin Chrissie for a sleepover. We played the Wii and we also played games. Me and Chrissie played with a bungee rope and swang on the beam and jamp over mattresses. The next day we went to Lerwick to drop of Chrissie and then Lucy, Mum and me had a day out in Lerwick and I had lots of fun with Chrissie and hope she can come for another sleepover soon.
Guising Night 1
We went guising on Tuesday and I was dressed as Harry Potter. The people that went were: Honor, Mia, Abby, Melissa, Neil, Mara, Bradley, Sofia, Hannah and Bradley’s cousins. We started at the old shop and then it started raining so we had to shelter in the shop. We did all the houses up to the cross roads and went up the Brough road and then we headed home it was fun.
Guising Night 2
We went guising for a second night and started at the hall. I was a vampire with tons of make-up. That night its was me, Abby, Neil, Mara, Hannah, Lucy and Alice. We went in cars and did up the road to Mid Yell. It was really dark and really fun

On Tuesday me and Filip went to the Lerwick Leisure Centre. We booked play zone and we went there. When we came in first we went to the biggest bouncy castle which was called the Octopuses Den. There was a blue slide on the biggest bouncy castle it was bumpy on the slide. Then we went to the bouncy castle which was next to the Octopuses den but it did not have a slide. After we played on an animal bouncy castle there was a red slide. Then we played football and I was the goalkeeper we played with a pink ball with a smiley face and it smelled of strawberries. After we went back to the animal bouncy castle and I tried to hide away so Filip did not see me. We came back to the Octopuses den and one of the staff put plastic balls on some air holes and the balls floated in the air and went up and down. Then I learned Filip some letters and colours. After I learned Filip some colours we played a bit more and we went shopping with Filip and mum.

We went to the museum in Lerwick and we went to the James Robertson exhibition we looked at maps and we looked at things that belonged to James then we sketched things and I sketched a T square, a pedometer, tiny glasses. and a compass. I saw a china pot and it was a beautiful china pot. James had 22 slaves and he made a map of Jamaica.

Yesterday we went to the Museum to see the James Robertson Exhibition. We looked at the different tools that James Robertson used for his map making. He used a tool called a Tee square it looks like a T and he has a tool called a Parallel rule. Then he made three maps of Jamaica. One of the maps of Jamaica was the whole of Jamaica. He used six pieces of paper to make it. They were so big and we had to get a magnifying to see the words. There were a big map of Aberdeen and there was over two thousand mistakes on it. There was lots of old paper pictures to show the two thousand mistakes he had made.
