Money, money, money!

In maths this week we were learning about bank accounts and where to put your savings. We had to choose which account was best for 3 kids called Ruby, Jenny and Khalid. Ruby got 50 pounds pocket money a month, Jenny got 100 pounds birthday money and Khalid got 15 pounds a week for his paper round. Then we created an advert using the iPads. We made up bank names and persuaded people to use our account. By Keiva and Ollie

Charles Rennie MacIntosh

As part of our ‘Where in the world is Scotland?’ topic we found out about Charles Rennie Macintosh, an artist from Glasgow who was also an architect and designer.

We were inspired by his work and had a go at creating our own rose pictures which we completed just in time to take home on Valentine’s Day.

It is interesting to see how we all used colour and line a little differently, all with beautiful results.
