On Friday the 13th of September
A lady from Inverness came to speak to us about The Shoebox Appeal.
She told us that you can put items such as hats, gloves, soap, toothpaste, toys and sweets as long as they are in there best before and it is not chocolate.
She also explained to us a story about a little girl and her mum they lived in a house with no electricity or water and she had to walk 25 football pitches to get to school.
She said that there was a boy that was in hospital because his mum was sick and he got a shoebox and he was very happy because he got haribows in his shoebox.
