We made  some recreations of the Parthenon. We got in to groups 3 groups of 7 or 8. We made some rolls with scrap paper for the pillars. It was hard to make our models not fall over. It was really fun but I think we should have been smaller groups. This was part of our project. We learned to cooperate with others and problem solve.. By Martha, P7

Last week on Thursday P5,6 and 7 went on a school trip to Mareel to see a film called Sisters: The Summer We Found Our Superpowers. It was set in Norway and lots of other schools were there. We enjoyed it! By Sonny

This week we have been making the planets and the distance to the sun to scale. There were five groups and we all had to do one job each and had to work together to get things right. By Shanice

This we did a canva  for the Connecting class rooms project. We also finished our novel Wonder it’s about a boy called Augie Pullman who has two genes mix together and his face is different.  He was homeschooled for most of his life. Will he make friends in a world of bully’s? For the Voar project  we made collages. By Fraser

3. We drew maps of  Aith.

4. We did our zero hunger project.

5. We made Canva presentations with P5/6.

6. The netball team practised on Monday and Tuesday.

7. We had our last swimming and French lessons.

8. We opened the first advent box.

What a busy week!

This week we primary 6+7 have had an active week

Monday-On Monday we designed phone cases of our liking, we came  up with the consepts and made the final ideas we will be making them of felt and meaning we will sew them.

Tuesday-in P.E we where doing badminton (bingo and jail-break) we where just playing in signals. Very enjoyable.

Wednesday-On Wednesday we had music so we where practising for our pantomime of “Jack and the bean stalk” we castes the actors and started on the music.

Thusday-On Thursday we moved our library from Wednesday to Thursday because our librairain was off. We also did a live lesion with someone from SSPCA and we where speaking about animals and their safety.

Friday-On Friday We did jack and the bean stalk songs we did spelling tests like always we worked on our connectives we played a different version of dominos and we worked on our scaled drawings.

This week we started to make cop26 posters, we had to write some facts about cop26 .

We have started a play about Jack and the bean stalk there is seven songs and a lot of parts .

In PE we were doing badminton.

We did swimming on Monday .

We have been doing decimals in  maths .

We filled out Junior Road Safety application forms if you want to help with road safety.

That is my week well the majority!

This week the p6/7 classroom were making some South African necklaces ,bracelets and hats. The materials we used were old cereal boxes and paint and had some raffia to finish it of that you could either plate or use by itself. When we had finished it all we took pictures of each other. We enjoyed doing it! by Lochie Bullough

On Friday Duncan and the gardening team helped with the long jump! First we cleaned up the edges and got the grass out and, then we started to shovel the new sand from the bag into the wheelbarrows and dumped it into the sand pit, we raked it to make it smooth. It was great fun and we got to jump in at the end. By Isla and Megan
