Next session each cluster will be hosting an Emergency First Aid session. The dates confirmed so far are confirmed below and are available to book through Business World.

Verbal Intervention Training
We are pleased to confirm that Crisis Prevention Institute will continue to offer 3 Verbal Intervention Training across our authority during academic session 2024/25. CPI provide de-escalation and behaviour management training that puts people first.
Sessions are face to face and run from 9am until 4:30pm (4:00pm if shorter breaks are agreed).
The training is for 24 delegates and a member of the inclusion and wellbeing team will also be present on the day. Spaces can be booked through Business World.
Please note – these sessions are for mainstream staff only. Enhanced provision staff will continue to complete the 2 day training course with Team Teach.

Catriona Gill from Education Scotland will be leading the second of our Headteacher engagement sessions on Play Pedagogy at the Inspire Building on Friday 20th September 2024.
Those who attended the first session on Thursday 2nd May who have not yet submitted their evaluation form can still do so.
An additional workshop will be led by Catriona on Friday 4th October for all play pedagogy leads in schools.
Further information will be sent out at the beginning of next term.
