Getting outdoors with primary languages

Scotland’s National Centre for Languages (SCILT) is hosting workshops for pre-service and in-service primary teachers in May and June 2025 that are free, in person and very interactive.

In the Getting outdoors with primary languages workshops, we will consider how languages feature within an Outdoor Learning agenda. We will explore connections to Learning for Sustainability, discussing how this area can be implemented through an interdisciplinary approach within an outdoor context. Together we will try out some practical activities that will set you up for a multilingual 30 Days Wild in June.
