We entered our original script into a nationwide competition.
-
The winners would win £5000 and their school show filmed.
-
Second prize was £1000.
-
20 semi finalists would receive £100.
We…… pitched, sawed, sparked, cooked, ate, drank, gathered, walked, feared, chatted, slept, washed, canoed, escaped, shared and cleared…..ALL OUTDOORS!
Our experience was loads of fun but also had a serious side. Throughout the event we reflected on the life of refugees in a different type of camp! We had 2 activities that were very refugee focused. They were called FEAR and ESCAPE. If you want to know more then please ask us!
We’ve got new food being tried, girly girls in football kits, Mrs H not being allowed to talk, some pupils not being allowed to talk, Mrs Malcolm in bunches, pupils sharing embarrassing old photos, and many more uncomfy challenges going on.

The big class loved their visit from Steven Brown. Their interview skills were wonderful and they set him a few challenges.
He took some of our paintings away to display in his office and left us all a lovely signed gift.
We are delighted to announce we have achieved the
SILVER accreditation for Dyslexia Friendly Schools.
Well done everyone!!!
