🧮 Maths Week — Parents Open Morning
Thank you so much for joining us yesterday for our Maths Week Open Morning! It was wonderful to welcome you into our classrooms to see maths in action — hands‑on fun everywhere!
✨ P1–3
Our youngest learners explored numbers, shapes and problem‑solving through creative, playful tasks:
– 🎨 Colour by numbers — linking number recognition with art
– 🧊 3D shape nets — folding and discovering solid shapes
– 🛠️ Junk modelling — building and designing with everyday materials
– 🔢 Playdough numbers — forming numbers and building fine motor skills
– ➕ One more, one less — exploring number order and counting
– 📊 Numbers to 100 — counting, ordering and recognising larger numbers

House Captains and Vice Captains 26/27

🏆 Introducing Our House Captains & Vice Captains! 🏆
Our P6 and P7 pupils have been busy preparing their House Captain speeches, thinking carefully about why their housemates should vote for them and the ideas they could bring to their house.
Each pupil had the opportunity to perform their speech in front of their house group, before every member of the house cast their vote. 🗳️
A huge well done to all of our P6 and P7 pupils for showing such confidence, enthusiasm and leadership throughout the process. We are so proud of you! ⭐
Meet our 2026–2027 House Captains & Vice Captains below… 🏆✨

Our P5–7 pupils had a fantastic trip to Flip Out today! Everyone had a brilliant time bouncing, climbing, and enjoying all the activities with their friends. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and energy throughout the day. Judging by how active they were, we think they’ll all be sleeping very well tonight! ☺️🏃🤸‍♂️🏎️

Thank you to all of the parents and carers who joined us for World Book Day activities.
We had a super morning listening to ‘Chaos at the Chocolate Factory’ and then completed some fun activities.
We then got into groups and created our own machines that could be used in Wonka’s Factory!
