Thank you to the parents who completed our survey. The Results are as follows:
Previous years we have had a series of virtual meetings and this can be accessed below.
Online Transition Lesson 1:
The nursery children enjoyed meeting our current P1s who gave them a tour of our classroom. Then we read a story about starting school and the current Primary One’s talked to the nursery children about what to expect on their first day of school.
Online Transition Lesson 2:
The Children listened to the Bug Collector Story and loved hearing all about George’s adventures with his grandpa. Then we spoke about the different emotion words in the story and and had a go at acting out these emotions. We then spoke about how the nursery children were feeling about starting school and they drew an emotion face to show us how they were feeling. Primary One loved seeing their fantastic art work!
Nursery Visit to St Fergus:
The nursery children visited their buddies at St. Fergus. They got a chance to meet their buddies and then we all went on a bug hunt together, just the the characters from our book The Bug Collector!
