Parent Pay

ParentPay is a secure online payment system that has replaced cash payments in almost all Renfrewshire schools .

With ParentPay, parents and carers will be able to pay for their child’s school meals, trips, events and activities online using a debit or credit card.

This means that we will be unable to accept cash in the school office and failure to use this service to pay for your child’s lunch could lead to debt collection by Renfrewshire council. It may also have an impact on our fund raising and could lead us being unable to provide treats, trips and gifts given to your children throughout the year.

Currently  58% of our children have an activated account and we are encouraging all families to have completed their child’s account by the September weekend this year.

This week all families who have yet to do this will receive an unique user name and activation code.  Please take the time to complete this process.

Below is a link to the parent parent pay website and a PDF of the activation guide to help you do this.

Active Schools Clubs

As we have now moved into level 2 and in line with government and Sportscotland guidance we are delighted to say that we can run some of the extracurricular clubs on a trial basis.

These clubs will start week beginning Monday 24th May and will be targeted at specific classes as we are keeping pupils within their bubbles.

The sessions are as follows:
Tuesday P3 – 3-4pm
Wednesday P5 3-4pm
Friday P6 3-4pm

Sessions will be run outdoors unless extreme weather conditions so please come appropriately dressed and the pupils will take part in their uniform.

Our coaches will be following FACTS for the sessions. Hand sanitiser will be available from the coach for use by the pupils on arrival of the session and as they leave.

Can we ask that pupils are collected at the main entrance gate. Please can parents/carers observe social distancing and wear a face covering when collecting your child.

We will also require all pupils to be signed up online as this will allow us to follow track and trace for the sessions. All clubs can be found via the Class4kids website by  following link below:

https://rl-stfergus.class4kids.co.uk

Should you have any issues and require any technical support to allow you to use our system, please contact David directly via email or phone the number below.

Virtual Pilgrimage to Rome Update

St. Fergus Pupil Council would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone that took part in our Virtual Pilgrimage to Rome. We involved all our St. Fergus Families in our virtual Pilgrimage with the aim of raising money for our chosen charities Missio and Who? Cares Scotland as part of our Almsgiving during Lent. We are happy to announce that we walked 1566 miles, meaning that we made it to Rome and we also raised £147 for our charities! This is something we are very proud to have achieved as a school and would like to thank everyone who made this possible. If anyone still has any sponsorship money to Pay to the school, they can still do so via ParentPay.
