Reading
Reminder: Due to COVID-19 your child can access their reading books online using their Collins ebook site logins previously sent by text from the office.
We recommend children select one book each week. The book can be read throughout the week to build fluency and confidence. One or two follow up tasks written at the back of the book can be completed. Below is an example of what these follow up tasks may look like.
Remember to use your reading strategies to help you.
Miss Kennedy and Mrs Wishart would like to wish you a very happy holiday. Hopefully the sun will shine after the 8th of April and we will all be able to enjoy it.
We have some lovely chocolate treats to share with you and we will give those out on the first day back. A wee chocolate treat from us and a chocolate egg from the Rowantree foundation who kindly donated an egg to all children in Primary 1 and Primary 2.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 19th of April. Stay safe safely at home for a few days. Happy holidays!
