Handwriting Tuesday 26 January

Today we are learning how to write the capital letter C. Capital C is an easy letter as it is exactly the same as the lower case letter but it is always tall.

Watch this fun video showing you how to write the letter C,

Now practise writing letter C with me. You will need a pencil and lined paper.

P.E. Tuesday 26 January

Hi everyone. Remember it is really important to try to get daily exercise during lockdown. This will help us to feel good both physically and mentally. It will also help us to get a good night’s sleep.  If possible try to go out every day for a walk as fresh air is so good for us.

One of my favourite dogs in Hairy Maclary is Schnitzel Von Krumm. He is very cute.  Have a go at drawing a sausage dog from the attached video.

Give your dog a name when you have drawn it. I would love to see your pictures.

Literacy- Tuesday 26 January

Hello everyone. Today we are going to read the story Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy and complete some tasks from it. I hope you enjoy the story.

I would like you  to think about which character is your favourite character in the story.  Watch the video below and complete the task on lined paper.

Then as a follow-up task talk about the following worksheet with your grown-up. Copy at least 2 of the sentences out and write in the rhyming word.

Friday 22nd January – The Two Farmers

Happy Friday Everyone.

Reverend Murning is really missing being with us in school. He has sent a lovely story for us to listen to today about being ourselves.  There are no religious references in the story or discussion.
