As it is the last week of term, we won’t be issuing reading books or spelling homework. Instead, your child can do play and do the following games and activities below as revision:

P2/1 topic

Today P2/1 started their new topic, ‘Hot and Cold’. We discussed what we know:

”Fire is hot.” Nico

”Dubai is hot.” Ruaraidh
”Ice cubes are cold.” Alexander 

“Scotland is cold.” Cody

The children were asked what they wanted to find out:

”how is fire made?”

”Why is Africa hot?”

”Can deserts have snow?”

”What animals live in cold places and what animals live in hot places?”

”How is Earth hot in some places but cold in other places?”

We can’t wait to find out!
