Subtraction Chilli Challenge
We are continuing to focus on subtraction this week.
Remember you can subtract by using objects or counters, counting back in your head or even using a number line ( you could make your own number line).
Also you can use addition to help you, as subtraction is the inverse of addition, for example:
3 + 6 = 9 and 9 – 3 = 6
In your home learning jotter, write the short date (25.03.20) and choose which level of subtraction sums you wish to complete. Get an adult to check your answers. If you have tried the ‘mild‘ level then try some of the sums in the ‘hot’ level. There is no limit to the amount of chilli challenges you can do but do try and challenge yourself!
Try and make each number the same size.
