Good morning everyone!

 

Literacy 

To continue our Scottish theme today we are learning about Greyfriars Bobby.

 

Now I would like you to choose two adjectives to describe Bobby and then write a sentence about your favourite part of the story. Here is a picture of Bobby to remind you what he looks like.

 

Here are some sentence starters to help you.

This is what I decided to write below but you can choose your own adjectives and your own favourite part of the story.

 

 

Did you know Bobby was a real dog that lived in Edinburgh a long time ago?! He was a Skye Terrier who became famous for spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner until he died in 1872. They even made a statue of him and people rub his nose for good luck- that is why it’s all shiny!
