It is a difficult time right now where we are being told to stay home and keep safe. Some days even your teachers feel good and some times they too feel fed up, sad and angry. Remember it is okay to feel angry. How can you tell when someone is angry, what does their face look like? Remember when you are feeling angry, do the Turtle and talk to someone. Before screaming and shouting, think of 3 things you could do to instead e.g listen to music, jog, scream into a pillow! Here are some resources to help you cope when you are feeling angry or upset. If you cannot print the mindfulness colouring book then open it onto your computer/tablet and use paint software to colour it in.

Time for PAThS
At PAThS time we usually do our check to see how everyone is feeling. We sit carefully and listen to others, remembering to make good eye contact with the person talking and we do not fidget.
Practice being a quality audience the next time a family member is talking to you, give them good eye contact, be still and so you can show that you are listening. Remember if you would like to do a check in then you can leave us a comment :).
Today we will recap the feeling worried. What does it mean if you are worried? How can you tell when someone is worried, what does their face look like? Is worry a comfortable or uncomfortable feeling?
Listen to this story called ‘The huge bag of worries’ by Virginia Ironside
Talk about a time when you felt worried.
Is there something you feel worried about just now?
Draw or write some things that make you feel worried.
What different things did Jenny try to do to get rid of her worries? What did she do that helped her with her worries?
What could you do to help you if you feel worried?
Remember all feelings whether comfortable or uncomfortable, are okay!
