Head Teacher Challenge

At Assembly this week, we discussed 2 of our school values  – Friendship and Teamwork.

The children have now been set a challenge to find these values in action both in school and at home.

Head Teacher’s Challenge

What do our school values of Friendship and Teamwork look like to you ?

Take a photo or video to show these values in action in and around the school, or bring one in from home for bonus points

Good Luck, enjoy!  Mrs McGlynn

Harvest Festival

Our Harvest Festival was celebrated this morning at Inchinnan Parish Church with a morning service. It was a lovely gathering of children, staff, parents and members of the wider community.  The children sang the hymns and harvest songs beautifully as well as reading the  poems with confidence and enthusiasm.

The Pupil Council dramatised the ‘Story of Ruth’ from the bible with Rev. Anne Knox as well as helping to ensure the smooth running of the Service.

Thank you to Amanda McCall from Erskine Baptist Church for attending.

Thank you also to everyone for all their kindness and support for the Renfrewshire Foodbank.

Chess Club

I’m delighted to be able to announce yet another exciting new club available at Inchinnan Primary for P4-7 on a Thursday afterschool from 3-4pm.

We are very lucky to have Mr McQueen who has being running the Chess Club at Bishopton Primary for a number of years and has now extend this offer to Inchinnan Primary pupils.

If your child is interested in attending please use our new online booking system ‘class4kids’ to secure a place.

MEET THE FAIRTRADE COMMITTEE

Fairtrade Committee

This year the Fairtrade Committee will be led by Mrs. Hunter. The Chairperson is Emma and the Vice Chairperson is James.

Our hardworking committee secretaries are Alyssa and Kiara.

28th September 2017

We had a busy meeting. We voted for our Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary.  Next we  also  discussed ideas on how we will try and promote Fairtrade in our school this year. Finally we played a maths game in pairs and made sure we played FAIRLY!

We also tasted some Cadbury chocolate who partner with the Fairtrade Foundation. They help improve the lives of cocoa farmers and their communities.
