Pupil Council 2022-2023

Our staff lead for the Pupil Council this year is Mrs Retson.

The Pupil Council is a group of pupils who were elected by their peers to represent them and their views. They meet regularly to make decisions about how our school is run and enables them to make changes for the better in our school as part of our improvement process.

Pupil Council

The Pupil Council have been really busy sorting and re-stocking our class Wet Play Boxes. The boxes are filled with games, toys and other items that the children can use during a wet interval or break. The Pupil Council had asked each class for suggestions for items for the boxes and  a wish list was made.

The boxes are now ready and in all the classes for the children to use.

Harvest Service October 2018

The Pupil Council have been extremely busy this year so far

Sport Relief Day (March 2018)

At Inchinnan Primary we encourage our pupils to become partners in their own education. Our Health Committee in partnership with our Pupil Council organised an activity day to raise funds for Sports Relief March 2018. The activity day was the pupil’s ideas  and these initiatives planned through our citizenship groups develop pupil participation in decision making and develop pupil voice. It also helps develop a sense of responsible citizenship within the school and wider community.

On Friday 23rd March Children were permitted to wear sports clothes and to bring their bikes, scooters or roller skates to school with  £1 donation for the charity.  Sport relief wristbands were on sale in the school this week too. So far we have raised £125.

Activities included basketball, archery, golf, hammer throw, beat the goalie, just dance, trim trail, bikes, scooters and running.

Here are some of the photos of the activities which the children took part in throughout the day. In the afternoon, an obstacle course was set up in the Gym Hall  for all the children ( and some teachers! ) to complete.

We Remember #2017

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed since the end of the First World War to remember the members of our armed forces who have died in the line of duty. To commemorate this we had two minutes of silence on Friday and the whole school made this sign out of poppies.  They are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after the war.
