Sport Relief Day (March 2018)

At Inchinnan Primary we encourage our pupils to become partners in their own education. Our Health Committee in partnership with our Pupil Council organised an activity day to raise funds for Sports Relief March 2018. The activity day was the pupil’s ideas  and these initiatives planned through our citizenship groups develop pupil participation in decision making and develop pupil voice. It also helps develop a sense of responsible citizenship within the school and wider community.

On Friday 23rd March Children were permitted to wear sports clothes and to bring their bikes, scooters or roller skates to school with  £1 donation for the charity.  Sport relief wristbands were on sale in the school this week too. So far we have raised £125.

Activities included basketball, archery, golf, hammer throw, beat the goalie, just dance, trim trail, bikes, scooters and running.

Here are some of the photos of the activities which the children took part in throughout the day. In the afternoon, an obstacle course was set up in the Gym Hall  for all the children ( and some teachers! ) to complete.
