Celtic Connections

We really enjoyed our trip to the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow as part of Celtic Connections.  During the concert weheard traditional music from both Scotland and Spain.  There was lots of dancing and clapping to the lively music.  It was really interesting to see and hear instruments such as harps, mandolins and the hurdy-gurdy.

Viva Brazil!

Oi! In Brazil they speak Portuguese! This is because Brazil used to be a Portuguese colony. We investigated some key Portuguese phrases and then translated them into English. We had the challenge that every time you use Portuguese in this class it’s worth 1 house point!

A Visitor to Inchinnan!

This is Elfie. He has come from the North Pole and was hiding in a box outside Mrs McGlynn’s office. This week he is currently in Primary 7 because they won best class award at assembly. He has had an adventurous week and getting into some crazy situations.
