Numeracy Showcase Event 21st May 2018

The Scottish Government’s ambition is for Scotland to be the best place to grow up. To achieve that we need to raise attainment and reduce educational inequity for all of Scotland’s children and young people.

Big thanks to Mrs. Retson, who along with 130 teachers and school leaders from Renfrewshire,  gathered for a Numeracy and Mathematics Showcase event at Johnstone Town Hall.

The Renfrewshire Attainment Team organised the event which included key speakers presenting examples on high quality professional learning, transitions and how to share work with family and community.  Great examples of  work from across our Renfrewshire schools was on display as well as lots of  ideas being shared with  colleagues on raising attainment in Numeracy and Mathematics.

Here is Mrs. Retson showcasing the great work from Inchinnan.
