Show Racism the Red Card Competition Finalists

Show Racism the Red Card is a charity which strongly resonates with our school ethos on equality. Within our Art & Design Department we created a Design unit around the theme of this year’s competition. We decided to communicate the #GenerationEquality theme through a Graphic Design poster campaign; combining imagery, symbolism and text to communicate the powerful anti-racism message and bring attention to Show Racism the Red Card.

Below are the 10 finalists submissions. Please take time to have a look through the wonderful posters created by our pupils and vote on your favourite by clicking on the link below.

My World of Work Webinar

The second of two pilot parents’ webinars took place on 22nd April – aimed, this time, at parents and carers of summer leavers.

Planning, preparation and delivery of this webinar was led by Nicola Graham and members of her team in NE region with support from National CIAG and the SDS marcomms. Amy Gordon and Louise Fowlie were superb front-of-house hosts for this second successful event with critical backroom support from other NE team members.  Thanks to all those involved for such a fantastic job.

A recording of the webinar is available here on MyWoW along with further guidance and support for the parents and carers of school leavers.
