Possible Written Tasks

  • If you can download and print the common word overwrite sheet and put inside a polypocket, you can use this everyday to practise writing each word using a whiteboard pen. You can download the sheet here. Overwrite Common words old, do, going  If you can’t download just practise writing each word on a sheet of paper/jotter each day.  Always write each word 3 times.  You could do this in different colours.
  • Write super sentences for each word. Try to write a different sentence for each word every day.
  • Ask a grown up to dictate sentences for you to write, remind them they have to include one of the common words in each sentence.
