Hello boys and girls, hope you are all well, and looking after your families by trying to help around the house or even in the garden!

Today, Monday 18th May would have been the 100th Birthday of St. John Paul II!

The youngest Pope at the time at only 58. He was Head of the Catholic Church, as Pope, from 1978 – 2005 ( 27 years). He died at the age of 84 and was Canonised a saint in 2014.

There are two links below one when John Paul II visited Scotland in 1982, which a lot of your families will remember, ask them about it! The second is a clip of important messages he said. Please have a look:

This Thursday would have been a Holiday of Obligation as it is Ascension Thursday but as we can’t go to Church at present here is a little link for you and a few suggested activities I thought you might like!
