The boys and girls from P3/4 and P4/5 got together today to participate in a mock election. They worked co-operatively in their party groupings to create a name as well as promises for their manifesto. They then designed their party rosette and party name plate.
They listened intently while candidates spoke and enjoyed working with their peers. They then took part in a secret ballot to vote; mirroring what would happen in a real General Election.
After counting and verifying the votes, The Animal Party and The Marshmallow Party were joint winners. Well done children! 🙂
