Reading Schools is an accreditation programme to help schools build and sustain a reading culture. We have been part of the Reading Schools programme since 2024, achieving a Reading School status in March 2024 and achieved our Silver Reading School Award in March 2025.
Being part of this scheme has helped to create an ethos and enjoyment for reading within the school.
CREATING A READING ETHOS
This great girl enjoyed reading these books. She wanted to share her love of reading these books with others and decided to donate these to our school library for others to enjoy.
BOOKBUG LAUNCH
To launch our Primary 1 Bookbug Bags, we invited the parents and carers of the Primary 1 children in to share this experience with their child.
