School Captains

A Message from our Captains

At St Maurice’s, our aim is to create a welcoming and positive environment for all pupils and staff. Being appointed as school captains for this year will present many amazing opportunities to us, through which we can implement the spirit and values of St Maurice within our school community. During this school year, we will be engaging with and leading the younger pupils, specifically S1, and we are incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to guide and mentor them through their first year at St Maurice’s.

Between leading Health and Wellbeing lessons, lunch hall monitoring, and encouraging pupils to attend Mass, we will be able to demonstrate the respect, patience and kindness that is expected in our school. Furthermore, we will also proudly represent our school at a variety of events, including award ceremonies and masses. Through these events, we will be given the chance to engage and communicate with the wider school community, bringing everyone together as one. We are incredibly grateful and privileged to be appointed as this year’s Captaincy Team, and we know that we will look back fondly on the experience in years to come, as it will provide many amazing opportunities for the future and will truly enhance our final year at St Maurice’s.
