Asymptomatic Testing Programme

Dear S1-6 Parent/Carer
 
I am pleased to share with you arrangements for the new testing procedures available to all S1-6 pupils. Previously, this programme was only available to senior phase pupils in S4-6. Following completion of the online consent form, test kits can be picked up from Monday 29 March onwards on the day your child is in school.

Pupils will receive their test box which contains 3 tests and will allow them to do 2 tests per week, for example, on a Monday & Thursday OR a Tuesday & Friday. To receive the first test box parents/carers and pupils MUST have read the attached letter and have completed the online consent form at the following link:

This online consent form must be completed by a parent/carer if your child is under 16.

After your child completes their test, you can upload their result to the national portal at the following link:
 
https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result 
 
If your child has a positive test,they must self isolate and request for a PCR test in the normal way.
