Health and Wellbeing – Thinking about when we are back at school.

Good morning boys and girls!

I hope you’re all well and still trying hard to do homeschooling. Some days are harder than others, I know! I hope you’re keeping safe, trying to get outdoors for some activity and eating as healthily as you can!

Well done to those who took part in the Virtual Relay last Friday!!!

We are starting to think about coming back to school after the holidays and we are so excited to see you, but things will be a little bit different. As you are all aware, we have had to make changes at home and going out to keep ourselves safe and the same will happen when we get back to school. The classrooms and school will look a little different and it will be a change for everyone.

Have a look at this Social Story and think about what it means for when you return…

One of the things that’s important for us to remember is to keep a social distance of 2 metres. Have a little look at the PowerPoint on Social Distancing. This helps us to remember to keep our distance and how far we should be from one another.

These measures will not be forever, and we must remind ourselves that we will be doing them to keep YOU safe.

We are in this together at St. Helen’s!

Missing you,

Mrs McLaughlin
