Listening games are so much fun they make us laugh and giggle.

Some good games we like to play are…..

• What sound is that? (This can be done anywhere anytime.)
• Cover your eyes and listen for different sounds in your home. You might hear the microwave, the fridge door open, the doorbell, there are lots of sounds to listen for.
• Simon Says or Do this Do that. This is a tricky game you have to be a really good listener. Someone will be the leader and they will say “Do this” or “Simon says” and you will have to copy their action such us put your hands up. But if the leader says “Do that” Doesn’t say “Simon says” before the action you do not copy their action but stay very still or you are out and they have tricked you. Take turns each with your family at home or on FaceTime.
• Musical statues is always fun especially if someone tries to tickle you to make you out. Play a favourite song and dance until the music stops. Then stand very still. We know you liked to play this game at nursery.
• Chinese whispers. This is really funny someone starts by whispering really quietly something in your ear you then tell the next person and then they tell the next person until everyone has had the chance to hear words. Try it sometimes the words get mixed up and they sound like something really funny. Start by saying just one word then more until you are saying a full sentence.
