Good Morning Primary 5 and Primary 6,

Here are some more home learning tasks for you this week.

Good explanation of nets of 3d shapes on this website. There is also shapes that you can fold and unfold to see what their nets look like by dragging the bar next to each shape – https://www.geogebra.org/m/pCv2EvwD

Read some of the information on this website and choose a worksheet to complete (click on the link and they are near the bottom of the page).

TOPIC/IDL – Remember to continue with your ‘Inventors Booklet’ as this is due in on the 22nd of May (this Friday). See previous posts for more information and MyTeams. Well done to the four pupils who have handed their work in already, great work.

Literacy:

SpellingWith this week’s spelling words choose a different task from the spelling menu. On Friday, or once you have had lots of practise of your words, ask someone at home to test you on your words. Let me know how you get on. If you don’t feel ready to be tested choose an additional spelling task to complete instead.

Literacy task – See Word file.

LI: To research interesting facts about a historical figure and create parts of their autobiography.

Autobiography Task – Social Studies and Literacy

Autobiography PowerPoint

Have a nice day everyone,

Mrs Brocardo x
