Hi Primary 5 and Primary 6,

Here are some tasks for you to complete this week (click on the blue link). I will post more challenging ones from Tuesday next week so keep a look out. You can add more detail to each task if you want to (you could find out interesting facts about the inventor; write a paragraph summarising your book, Newsround episode or what you have found out about a Saint).

Tasks Thursday 26th March

Keep up the great work as you have all worked so hard this year and I am so proud of you all.

There are also some fun tasks posted on the school’s Twitter page that you could try out too like taking part in the Joe Wicks workout, logging into Nessy (if you had this in school) or you could even complete one of the tasks suggested by Drama Box.

If you have a printer at home I have also attached some maths mosaics, mindfulness colouring pages and a choice of some maths challenges for you to complete (although you don’t need to print the maths challenges). You can post your answer on here and i will reveal the answers to the maths challenges tomorrow.

Mindfulness colouring African patterns

Mindfulness Colouring

Multiplication and division facts colouring mosaic (choose which page to print, answers included)

Maths challenges you can do on paper or on sheet (answers will be posted tomorrow):

Puzzle – money                 > Puzzle time             > Maths Problems – harder

(also on the NRICH website you can see a good selection of maths problems and solutions which are great for a challenge).

Remember keep working hard while you are off, i know it’s a bit tricky as we aren’t in school but try your very best. If you need any help just let me know.

From Mrs Brocardo.
