P5-7 Awards Assembly

Our assembly on Monday was a busy one. We had visitors from the Homeless Shelter explaining how we can help , particularly at Christmas time. We learned that even if we don’t have a lot we could simply give something small like a packet of biscuits, anything helps.

We were also visited by our local police on the important issue of bullying. We found out it is a crime to be involved in cyber bullying and that if we use our devices inappropriately they could be confiscated.  The police told us about how quickly they need to get to emergencies and what we should do if we hear the sirens or see the blue flashing lights.

Huge well done to the pupils recognised this week by their teachers for awards. Keep up the great work boys and girls.
