Keep it up!
Well done to Primary 4 to Primary 7 pupils who are still working at home. We are hopefully on the final push now so please keep on signing into your class Team every day and respond to your teacher. Do your work and upload it to the assignments. Please parents encourage your child to do this. We don’t want anyone to lose momentum now! Special shout out to Room 16 Primary 5 because every single one of you signed into your Team yesterday! We check every day so please keep it up!
September Weekend
A reminder that pupils are not at school on Thursday and Friday of this week, or Monday of next. Thursday is an In-Service Day and Friday and Monday are holidays. We will see everyone on Tuesday the 29th of September.
Attention First Communicants!
FIRST COMMUNICANTS VIDEO!
We are all disappointed that the celebration of First Holy Communion was postponed due to COVID-19. So to brighten up our spirits we are looking to put together a short video featuring our First Communicants. Here is how you can get involved:
STEP 1: Watch the short video below and try to learn the actions whilst singing the lyrics on screen.
STEP 2: When you are confident enough record yourself singing and dancing to the song. Please make sure you record your video in landscape (long ways) and please make sure you wear earphones so the recording only picks up the sound of YOUR singing voice and not the Youtube version.
STEP 3: Send in your short video to: office@saintaugustines.org.uk or if the file is too big simply email us for details on how to send it via Whatsapp or another file sharing platform.
STEP 4: The parish will edit and publish the video featuring lots of our children singing and groovin!
We might even try to get some of your teachers involved!!!

How To Access Glow
GLOW
In an earlier post information was given that all pupils at school today would be issued with their GLOW usernames and passwords again and that all others are available for pick up for anyone who can. With this in mind, you can access homework packs/suggestions for your child in the following way:
login to GLOW using the username and password (ALL PASSWORDS HAVE BEEN RESET TO ‘pass’. ) Click on the ‘Share point’ tile. This takes you to tiles for P1 to P7, click on the tile of your child’s year group and you will see documents and you can converse with the teacher.

We had fun investigating sound with percussion instruments during our Music lesson.
Box Soccer
P4/5 are enjoying Box Soccer. Our coach Gillian comes in every Tuesday. We learn new football skills but more importantly we are learning to support one another, encourage one another and to have a Growth Mindset.
